These are our family members who make up the core of Windenhill. Some are showing, some are producing our next show ring champions. We breed one or two high quality foals per year for our own enjoyment and these are occassionally available for sale. Check our sales page for current offerings.

(WC Stonecroft Trilogy x Beadazzling)
Bay Gelding foaled April 25, 2011 ~ AMHA 183183
It was a very long wait and well worth it, this exciting youngster has FOUR crosses to the great sire of Morgan trotting horses, TROPHY. "Leo" grew up in the fields where many World Champions started at Treble's Morgan Manor, but in January 2013, he made the trip north to Anne Benson Stables and had a great 2014 season in park harness and was well started under saddle before coming home in December 2014. Leo just went back to work after an extended vacation, and he is loving his refreshed, mature body and ability! We are both enjoying our new family with Lark Henry at Bobbin Hollow! Watch for his return to the show ring later this year...

(Forevermore x CT Ginger Lee, by Fleetwing's Major)
2001 Bay Gelding, 15.1h
is one of six full siblings by Forevermore and out of my foundation
mare, CT Ginger Lee, that include World Champion Another
World, World Champion Noteworthy and the good producing mare Only Forever, dam of one regional champion stallion
as well as the Reserve World Champion Miramax.
When he was born, I considered him a gift from my good friend, Forevermore, who had given me so many wonderful foals. There was no question he would be special. Some of the attributes of this horse that especially appeal to me are his good disposition, nice flat bone, extraordinarily straight legs and good feet, short cannons, wonderful proportions and genuine Morgan type. He has excellent withers and a nice shoulder, and an exceptionally good hip. Long through the hip and croup, level on the topline - like his incredible sire. His head is beautiful and expressive and we were excited to see many of these nice qualities passed to his foals, but especially is the tremendous Forevermore shoulder, resulting in a wonderful neckset and great athletic ability.
We closed this chapter of his life by moving to the wonderful world of geldings in the spring of 2010, and I have been enjoying working and showing my horse here in Florida. Although I still maintain a supply of frozen semen that I can use whenever the mood strikes, we are both enjoying keeping our minds on our work and having fun doing it! If you have an interest in breeding to this typey, athletic horse, he is very reasonably priced at $350 per dose (enough to cover one heat cycle) plus shipping from Vogler Semen Centre in Nebraska. Contact Tami for a contract.

(Issues 'N Answers x Nemour's Sunny Beam, by Beamington)
1999 Dark Chestnut Mare, 15.1h
"Bea" is Sunny Beam's her last foal, and she is in an elite group of wonderful producing mares out of Sunny that include Nemours Sunkissed (dam of Hollybrook Wham Bam), Charlestown Moon Beam (dam of SBS Putting On The Ritz), and Charlestown Fairdawn (dam of Festival Jazzman and Intrepid My Fair Lady). A mare with lots of size, substance and athletic ability, she is also a family pet! Bea has a wonderful hindquarter and a big, four-cornered trot that we hope she will continue to produce in our breeding program.
Her first foal by Shanghai, a wonderful bay filly named WINDEN MAI TAI, arrived in 2006 and made her winning debut at the Jubilee Regional that September. She was the winner of the Open Weanling Filly and capped off her first horse show with a Reserve Champion Jubilee Futurity Weanling Filly title. She was purchased shortly before the show by our good friends Jay Kleiber and Julie Ouska of Ridgewood Farm in Elizabeth, Colorado. Now owned by Brian Berry and Victoria Markley of Santa Cruz, NM.
Of course, one of my breeding mantras is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and so Beadazzling was bred back to Shanghai and produced a lovely bay colt in 2008, WINDEN SAIGON. Purchased as a weanling by Abby Jones in New York, we are anxiously awaiting his performance debut.
In 2010, Beadazzling produced a big, handsome chestnut colt by Shanghai. WINDEN TAIPAN is now owned by Meagan Ferance of Shelbyville, KY and ended his first season as the 2011 USEF Region 3 In Hand Morgan Reserve Champion, and was Grand Champion Gelding at the 2011 Morab Nationals in Lexington, where he recently returned to reclaim the same title in 2012.
In 2014, Bea produced a lovely filly, VENEZIA, by Treble's Master Player. She captured the attention of World Champion western pleasure trainer (and our neighbor) Rick Gervasio as a two year old, and Rick subsequently selected her as a first Morgan for his special friend, Haley Rogers! We are so excited to see this filly's debut this year in the show ring.
Unfortunately, we lost this grand mare back in foal to Stonecroft Trilogy in September 2016 to a sudden onset of metabolic laminitis. In spite of all gallant efforts to save her by our very capable vet, Dr. Mary Beth Stanton, we had to make the unfortunate decision to end her suffering. She denotes the end of an era and we are devastated. She will be impossible to replace.
TRILLION, Bea's 2011 foal by World Park Saddle Champion STONECROFT TRILOGY (Stonecroft Masquerade x Ladybird Command), trained by Anne Benson Stables.
(Fleetwing's Major x Flintalee, by B-L Flintson)
April 12, 1986 ~ January 28, 2015
Chestnut Mare, 15h
Purchased as a coming yearling because I desperately wanted a daughter of Fleetwing's Major (Black River Major x Java's Pam's Pride) for a show horse, Ginger won the Yearling Filly class at the Jubilee Regional and some other good in hand ribbons before I decided the show ring would not be her forte. Her first foals by World Champion sire Forevermore (Beamington x Merwin Madonna, by Fairfield Fortune) were quite outstanding and so it was decided her place in life was to produce wonderful foals for Windenhill.
Ginger is the dam of six full siblings by Forevermore that include Surrender, World Champion Another World, World Champion Noteworthy, Only Forever (now owned by Peeper Ranch) and Tell Me More. Then Up-Hyre Te-N-Te (Dee Cee Mr. Trophy x Saddleback Swingtime) arrived in the neighborhood and the two of them produced a really nifty colt, Another Story, and then a beautiful filly, The Gift. Ginger was left open in 1998, but produced a stunning filly in 2000 named Luminaria, now owned by Hidden Dragon Morgans in Oklahoma. Bred back to Forevermore, she once again outdid herself by producing a very special bay colt in 2001, our stallion Shanghai.
Ginger experienced a rectal tear in 2003 during a routine ultrasound exam. After an extended stay at the University of Missouri, she was able to be bred live cover in 2004 and produced another outstanding filly by Up-Hyre Te-N-Te. Named Finery, whowas sold to Mr. Keith Middleton of Oak Ridge, Missouri. Keith is a long time Morgan owner and Finery is the first Morgan he's purchased in over 20 years, so we feel very privileged that he chose this outstanding daughter of our foundation mare.
Don't Blink, 2008 gelding by Cartier
pictured above as a 3 year old and below left at 20 years
Her last foal is the outstanding gelding, Don't Blink (by RWC Cartier), now owned by the Winograd family at West Coast Morgans in Odessa, FL, this tall and beautiful 2008 gelding has had a winning career in hand and in English and Classic Pleasure and Pleasure Driving and is looking better every year. He looks so much like his dam in the head that it's eerie to see him in the show ring.
Ginger moved to Ocala the summer of 2013 and enjoyed her last two years in our mild climate with sunshine and plenty of Sneak-e-Snacks.
